What to bring: One instrument of shaving that came from Tim and some stories​

@Osman and I invite you all for a gathering to celebrate the life of our dear friend.
Share in the fond memories and sweet generosity that was Tim.​

This was the scene of the last Melbourne meet up way back 12 months ago. Standard pub food with a good selection of local and European beers.

This is going to be the Australian shaving meet-up marathon weekend...first @todras is joining us on Saturday in Adelaide (oops the worst kept secret of this forum is out of the bag) and Melbourne on Sunday

Flights are booked - what a shame it is under these sad circumstances, but I am very much looking forward seeing you all (y)
 
Unfortunately I won't be able to attend. I will definitely be thinking of Tim, and will have a special shave that morning dedicated to him.
 
Well, I am in town for work the Thursday and Friday prior, and have been able to push my flight back to Sunday evening.

I am going to be at the Melbourne Event. Now to see if I can swing Adelaide as well. See you all in Adelaide too!

I do have to be elsewhere on the day for an important matter. However, I will find a way - I'll be there (albeit, I will need to leave a little earlier).

Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a drink for Tim (Draco Noir).
 
It was indeed a good meet, thanks to all that came along. It was nice to finally put faces to the names and also share a meal and a beer while in remembrance of Tim.

Also a special mention to Alex, Tim's son for coming along. While it is quite still raw for him, he was indeed lifted by some of the stories which we discussed.
 
May I take this opportunity to thank all that came to share in the memory of Tim.

Firstly a big shout out to @alfredus and @Monsta_AU who made the long trip to Melbourne to be with us.

To @Benjamin who we met for the first time. Thanks for making your acquaintance.

To the swell crew of @Osman , @StueyB , @Volare , and @silver . Always a pleasure to catch up with you guys.

Finally to the local and interstate Compadres who could not be here in person - our appreciation for your special thoughts.

Tim would have been over the moon.
 
Indeed Tim would have been over the moon yesterday - it was wonderful meeting you all, what a shame it was under these sad circumstances...

I had a top afternoon meeting you guys, thanks for being so welcoming!

Unfortunately I never had a chance to meet Tim. Hearing some of the stories about him, it really showed what a generous and well respected member of this community he was.

It is great to meet everyone and thanks for coming by, @StueyB @Volare @Monsta_AU, @Benjamin and @alfredus. Sure was a great experience for me to finally meet some of you guys in real life.

I'd definitely hope that this wouldn't be the one and only time we meet up, it would be amazing to keep this going at least yearly.
