AUCTION DESCRIPTION
I am honoured to have the opportunity donate these 4 AP Reserve Fragrances taken from my private collection. These are exquisite 30ml Extrait de Parfums with each perfume reflecting one of the four seasons.
This collection of perfume is unique: no expense has been spared with the materials and these perfumes will never again been offered for sale due to their cost.
The fragrances are donated in honour of the memory of our friend and wet-shaving brother Tim Keech whose friendship and contribution to our community will be forever missed.
I deeply and sincerely hope that any money raised from the sale of these items may somehow assist with research, treatment and the provision of care for those persons diagnosed with Cancer in Australia. Absolutely all money raised from this sale will be donated to the Australian Cancer Council.

General Ledger Royale - Spring
A modern Fougère with a paramount and traditional interpretation.
Verdant green Fern notes from the French Oakmoss supported with a suggestion of vetiver, rounded out by a warm bed of coumarin. Middle notes of French lavender, cinnamon and Geranium scaffold a top of bright Italian Bergamot, citrus and warm sweet exotic Rose Maroc Absolute.
General Ledger was an early APR scent dedicated to a P&C stalwart member, and it ended up becoming a cornerstone of the range. You might have shaved with the soap and splashed on the aftershave, but you have never had the full experience of the extrait strength which is the unadulterated, as-intended version direct from @todras bunker without being diluted by that pesky soap or splash.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Rose Maroc
Heart Notes: Lavender, Nutmeg, Cinnamon Bark, Geranium
Base Notes: Oakmoss, Vetiver, Tonka
Fête au citron - Summer
This is unashamedly a complex citrus fragrance with tart, sour and concurrently sweet accords. It works and pairs with so many summer soaps from Occam’s, to Shaver Heaven, B&M to Mike’s etc.
Built on a foundation of warm, sweet Amber and Vanilla Absolute with a heart of Black Pepper, Clary Sage and Lemon Grass. Two groves, one crop at the top...Lime, Bergamot, Lemon, Neroli, plus Brazilian Bitter Orange, Sweet Orange and Mandarin (amongst others) form complex, bright and vibrant citrus accords that are carefully accented with the merest suggestion of sweetness as a suitable contrast to the lemon party that is in full swing.
The Calabrian Bergamot Essential Oil used is Bergaptene Free and thus free of the photosensitivity that may come with other Bergamot oils.
Notes: Musk Ambrette, Amber, Vanilla, Black Pepper, Clary Sage, Lemon Grass, Bergamot, Lime, Neroli, Lemon, Sweet Orange, Bitter Orange, Mandarin....
Fougère Bourbon Rose - Autumn
Fresh green notes of French Hay and Oakmoss Absolute evoke verdant foliage and partner with the warm vanilla tones of Tonka Bean, Amber and Patchouli to provide a rich, lush and timeless base for this enduring Winter Fougère. Do not be confused, it is not a boozy scent. It is however an amazing masculine Rose-driven scent of refinement and appointment.
APR have used the finest available French Lavender and Geranium to provide a classical heart for the renowned Bourbon Rose cultivated in the Réunion Islands to shine. The warm, sweet and smoky notes of the Bourbon Rose place superbly within the accords of this most famous of fragrance families to purposefully avoid an overtly floral or sweet fragrance.
This particular composition of fragrance has been an immensely popular within the APR seasonal releases for 2 years running. This Auction provides the opportunity to acquire a truly special version at extrait strength, as it was truly intended to be experienced.

Base Notes: Hay Absolute, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Tonka, Amber, Patchouli
Skyefall - Winter
SkyeFall smells like a stupidly rich, deep, creamy masculine gentleman’s fragrance that combines (in accord) Indian Mysore Sandalwood, Ambergris, Tobacco & Single Malt Whiskey ably assisted by Yerba Mate absolute, a tiny hint of leather and civet. It is full bodied, very slightly herbaceous with beautiful spiced black tea, a little peat, some caramel balsams and a very special pepper top note.
Skyefall was a Paste & Cut members exclusive limited edition release for 2018. The 20 available Soap/AS and Soap/AS/EdP sets sold out to our members within hours. The Single Malt Whisky absolute was commissioned and produced within Australia exclusively for this scent. Truly one of a kind, it will never be produced again due to the inability to source the components such as Aged Indian Mysore, many of which were from the personal collection.
