"The reaction from the public has been nothing short of staggering with many men desperate to know when the new monster "Super" Gillette will be released " a Gillette spokesperson said at the Launch in Paris, France last Monday.

The razor received near hystercial reaction from the normally jaded press when viewed in Paris.
"This is quite obviously the most excciting thing to happen to mens shaving since Gillette introduced the first multi blades in 1971.
We are truly about to witness a revolution that will change the shaving world and the way men shave forever."

The Super Gillette Fusion XXL has been released to counter the 12 blade cartridge head "Duode" recently announced by Schick.

The major players in the multi blade cartridge head razor market are Schick and of course Gillette both of which ( particularly the later ) have dominated the shaving market for decades.

Now in response to surveys conducted by Schick over the past 18 months comes the announcement of a new soon to be released multi blade razor which is claimed to offfer a shave closer and smoother than any razor has ever offered before or currently offers.

A marketing spokesman for Schick said the shave afforded buy the Duode is the closest of any razor in history.

"Tests showed that not only was it by far the closest razor in blade shaving history but that it was also the smoothest with a virtually nick and cut free record during trialing of the razor.
We expect to have the Duode avilable for purchase in the major shops by this coming fall."

One of the most expensive advertising campaigns in razor history is set to launch late next month.
More specific details will be released prior to the commencement of the advertising campaign.
