PLANNED DOWNTIME 23/10/13: Memory Upgrade on Hosting Infrastructure

Hi members;

Due to a planned memory upgrade of the hosting infrastructure, Paste & Cut will be offline tomorrow night from approximately 7.00pm AEDT for a period of 4 hours.

The forums will be placed in maintenance mode at 7pm to allow a backup to be taken of our VM, which will then be shut down. Once the VM is shut down, there will be no response at all from the server.

At the completion of the work and the infrastructure is brought back online, the forums will again be opened. On the plus side, it will be myself actually doing the physical work on the servers so you all know it will be done properly.

Any questions on this outage are welcome. Thanks for your understanding.

We are back!

The upgrade did not go smoothly, I am headed back to work now.

I also needed to update networking settings after the host move. More documentation to write tomorrow later today.
