PSA - Don't soak your Razors in Bleach!

TLDR: Don't use bleach to clean your razor - especially if you are going to soak it overnight.
 
Why the hell would you use bleach to clean a razor?!?! Seriously, if you're that concerned about using a second hand razor, don't buy one. This doesn't make me want to cry, just laugh.
 
From the thread on YKW, the razor wasn't even second hand, it was just a little dirty on the head.

Hopefully the OP has learnt a valuable lesson - and an expensive one too.

Seriously - what was he thinking? Even barbicide overnight will kill a razor.

I use my espresso clean stuff sometimes (cafetto). It seems to do a good job. But could it do this?!?
