8 images is not many for a sale thread :D

All you lot do is whinge.

8 images in the standard amount allowed. It will be tweaked as time goes on.

I must admit that 48 images is a bit hefty. Thanks for responding to the whinges and getting the sel forum going by the way.

48? That's nothing. Mark's last FS on B&B ran to 22 pages.

And that was just his initial post.

Probably :D

Really limits you to one item per thread if you want to post pics which people like!

Exagerate? Moi?

It was only 16 items - it couldn't have been 22 pages! There were special circumstances too.

WOOT WOOT -we have a sale thread and a WTB up - thanks RM!

At this point in time the image limits will stay, but has been increased slightly. This is a server CPU/Disk/Bandwidth load issue more than anything.

Ideally this image-limit should be able to be varied by the usergroup of the user, but unfortunately it is a site-wide setting.

I will be removing access for normal users to upload attachments in the near future. Moderators, Editorial team and Admins will still be able to do so as that is how we get the images into the front page articles.

Normal users will need to host their own images, or use an image hosting service like photobucket, and then use the <img> tags. This is exactly the same as how OCAU does it. Once that happens, we can open up the image limit significantly.
