I have been waiting on a 24mm Finest Silver tip badger knot to arrive from China and today was that day.

@boldsworth passed on to me some old [dead and dying] vintage handles and brushes and in the group was this nice vintage handle. Most of the knot was already removed but I was surprised at how long it took with a Dremel to clean out the hole to take the knot. I have a buffing wheel so the black body and clear acrylic came up very nicely.

The knot is 24mm and loft is about 52mm

Nice looking brush Steve.

I have seen a number of vintage handles that look absolutely stunning and the re-knotting process has intrigued me somewhat.

WOW looks awesome!

I re-knotted a vintage faux tortoise handle with a TGN 2 band finest. It's the older TGN 2 band that has awesomely scrubby tips and super backbone!

It was my first and last re-knot as it was too much hassle and also, my daily brushes are boars.
