I've seen him trying to sell that one before. Still can't imagine why it would attract that price, particularly in Australia.

What makes it so special?

There's nothing special about the razor. It's the 150 year commemorative box that's worth the money. We're talking collectability and collectors, which is a different ball game altogether. Looking at the amount of patina on the lid I doubt that it's the original razor.

Yeah he has a regular dribble of razors, nothing special previously. I think he will be very pleased with this.

Two bidders took it from $52. The winner's recent history being winning video games.
