Why this hot pre-shave shower? Too bad for the water!
I explain, I'm not taking a shower because I'm going to be shaving, I'm just shaving because I'm taking a shower. While I am showering, the Omega 10098 bristle brush is drenched in a shavebowl. So time is not wasted. What does a shower do before shaving? Hot water loosens the skin and softens the facial hair. The soap washes away the hardships of everyday life from the face, which does not get into the bloodstream during shaving and possible cuts. So many digressions.
The shaving kit is very offensive due to the rather stubborn stubble. A brush of the right size with bristles will allow you to fluff the stubble in all directions so that it falls easier under the blade. The tallow-based soap provides exceptional glide, which is essential in this case.
Generally, with such stubble, I prefer a razor , but I caught the eye of the Se head from YAQI with a handle made by our forum colleague
@ Handyman . It is quite an optimal combination due to the proper balance, i.e. the top of the handle has a thickening, which gives a good balance with a very light and wide SE head. The Omega 10098 brush is, in my opinion, the "must have" of every enthusiast. Kneading with it is extremely effective, and applying it has its advantages. The brush on the face is so effective and pleasant that you don't want to tear it off. WSP Formula T soaps have a permanent place in many traditionalist bathrooms. They provide very good shaving parameters.
As for the SE razors, I'm not a fan of them, but honestly I have to admit that due to the thickness and stiffness of the blade, they shave well longer and denser stubble. For this, however, the whole thing must meet certain conditions, namely a comfortable and well-fitted grip. A SE razor that is wider than a typical DE makes it tend to shave better with the sides. For this reason, a good grip, in the sense of balance, corrects this defect and allows the head to be operated correctly within the area of the shaved surface of the face.
I shaved in three passes without trying to be perfectly shaved after the first. Thus, I did not drive the blade several times in the same place, but only dragged the cutting edge over the foam-covered surfaces. This technique saves me from unpleasantness in the form of redness or red dots. After shaving, I used the AS Steam Punk tailor, which suits me very well in all respects. Third parties may have a different opinion. With such a shaven I can now go to church in peace, knowing that there will be no embarrassment.
