I actually thought I said it. Welcome back. Now take your position in the balcony or where ever you feel you fit best. :)

Pre-Shave PAA Mentholated ICE Scentless Pre-Shave Soap
Brush Semogue Owners Club
Soap Shave Heaven Hubba Hubba
Razor Ikon #102 / Danshaku Straight (thanks @Draco Noir)
Blade Persona Blue Med Prep
Post Shave Argon Oil

Same shave for Friday, Sunday and Monday nights. Many thanks to @Draco Noir for giving me a loaner while he puts the edge back on my Hoshitombo. Slowly getting the hang of waving a straight around my face without losing too many facial features. Getting so I can do about 4/5 of my face before I have to reach for the DE. Just got to get a handle on my jaw, chin and Adam's apple. Hopefully I can master the last 25% without too much bloodshed.

Great lather with the Hubba Hubba, getting down to the last dregs in the jar now. Maybe two or three shaves left in this tub.

What Semogue do you have in that combo? I've got the pair of 2011 boar and badger.
Interested in which you have.

Tonight's shave was a nice blood free 2 pass with my 5/8 Bengall. The cut throat is or can be a very aggressive shave but I really think my MMOC is more unpredicably aggessive. @JugV2 mentioned his R41 [2011] and from most accounts that is probably right up there with blade exposure and as @alfredus also mentioned it can bite quickly if you are not paying attention. I feel the naked bladed of a straight when really sharp is quite a mild [ish] shave. I was offered an R41 to try but DE blades and I don't always coexist. I do agree with @alfredus that nothing is as thin and sharp as a DE blade but a straight is not far behind.

The wire brush does intrigue me.

When I first got the R41 I cut myself up a fair bit. It took a lot of trial and error with different blades, not to mention technique, to get it right. But you're absolutely correct, aggressive.

Most of my SE's by DE standards are aggressive so I didn't know what to expect with a straight. Maybe if @alfredus still has his version of the R41 I should borrow it or maybe just leave it sitting somewhere in the back of my mind, and at my age I'll forget about it quite quickly.

Great shave @StueyB! Nice to almost be finished with a tub. [emoji106]

Your maths may be a little out though... [emoji6]

...

Too tired, too lazy and guess I attend the Muppet Theatre balcony today unshaved. Hope they let me in.

Hmmm, will have to check - got to have some standards ...

I actually had it on loan from @khun_diddy

Preshave: @Draco Noir preshave oil
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89 with Windrose Handle
Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux
Brush: Vie Long Horse
Soap: Chiseled Face Redneck(thanks to @Draco Noir )
Post Shave: Thayers Lemon and Soap Commander Courage AS Balm
Three pass shave no nicks no cut and no irritation, perfect. The scent on this is quite interesting. Its like walking into an auto mechanic workshop. Oil and dirt. The soap was great though.

Bigger - you guys know me too well ...
...what you even swear in Kiwi do you mate?

Hey @JugV2 , mate, you've gone from not-a-bo-peep to not-shutting-the-fuck-up in less than a day. Jeez mate, when you break the seal it's a tsunami - you've dominated every thread.....like @borked at 4am
