D01 2 Band Fan 25mm knot 52mm loft.
Bernd had some Opus Summum marble rod stock still available so I took full advantage at a very generous price. Pics don't do it justice.
This brush is a beast, a soap destroyer. Backbone to die for and, despite all of my concerns, this one has little scritch. Hmmm, wondering if I set it too high now, although D01 2 Band is never going to be floppy.

80 spoilers. Blind buy. Hopefully there good!

Nice work - they will be good.

In fact I promise they will be and, if you are not fully satisfied with their performance, simply return them to me and I will gladly refund your $1.69 per pack purchase price ...

$1.69 per pack would have been nice lol. AUD they worked out to be $60 delivered. Not bad if they last around 5 shaves per blade and perform well.

Mine is a 24 @ 52 I think. I agree, beautify backbone, soft tips, can be scrubby if you apply pressure because the backbone holds it in shape. Excellent brush for sure.

That is not a bad price on spoilers actually!

I've never posted mail calls before, so this is a first.

This is a Cyber Monday special by Gifts & Care. All items were on special, apart from Haslinger. I really like the new "spring-gds" tracking system offered by G&C. I had noticed on Friday evening that my order had arrived into the country on Friday morning. The parcel then arrived at my door on Sunday morning - 11 Dec, which was impressive considering I had placed the order on the 29-Nov. So praise goes to G&C, PostNL & yes, wait for it.........AusPost for doing overtime prior to Christmas.

Very nice! I would be most interested to hear your thoughts on the razor.

My two current razors are the Seygus 2016 Aluminum (mild) and Hone 15a (Hone calls Mild +). I alternate days with the razors. I tend to like maneuverable razors in the 85mm range. My normal blade of choice is the Personna Med Prep in those razors. The Hone 15a gives me my best shave on 20% of the Derby's I try (the other 80% is properly recycled).

First shave today with the "bird" - Wilkinson Sword blade, Fitjar Islands Slåtterøy cream, Wolf Whiskers Black Wolf synthetic brush. My first stroke was "wow and effective". Different feel. Two passes and touch-up. Two nicks (uncommon for me). Overall happy for first shave. I need some technique improvements on all 3 razors: Hone 15a is best on the neck, Seygus jaw line and good under nose, Blackbird now best under nose, chin, by mole and overall better where growth is thicker. Blackbird may be better on WTG first pass. Could easily be a 3 razor rotation!

Oh wow! Love love love this scent and this is first sniff out of the bottle.

What we need now is @todras scent in @Anthony soap base to make a matching pair and we have perfection I think!

And this is @todras first generation! I have always though that making soap and a/s is easy (although I have no idea really). It's getting the scent right that is hard and not you have nailed it.

Forget the 2017 sabbatical.... sign me up for some more!
