Really great shave again with the GC .84-P and a fresh Astra blade.

Wonderful lather built nicely with the PK-47 brush.

Nice post shave with some Stirling balm!

When did you get a GC .84-P? must of missed that memo

Two shaves and the Grande is shelved to test with a sharper blade another day. What was plenty of blade feel yesterday turned to tugging today on 2nd shave with Astra SP.
Lowest mileage I've had from this blade.

I hope everyone is going well. I’ve had a busy term, what with the distance learning adventure we doing in education. I shaved but literally didn’t have time to post. Now that Easter is done I wanted to share my new favourite razor.

I’ve been shaving exclusively with the Yaqi Slant head (Windrose SS handle) for about two months straight and I adore it. It’s rank pot metal and cheap as chips but my golly do I love the smooth aggression. It will nick the top of blemishes but won’t slice you. I suppose it could just be that it’s my first slant and I’ll find better... but this would have to be the best bang for buck I’ve had in three and a bit years shaving.

The last two shaves and hard to split them as both razors performed great, in large part to the smoothness of the blade and performance of the soap base. If I could keep one brand of soaps it would easily be Squadrons as it lathers up luscious lather with ease and the scent range is some of my favourite! Finished off with some Stirling and today used some splash for two very happy shaves!!!

Had to baseline with Karve OC-D after the Grande

+1 (y) Have often considered this myself, If I had to choose one or decided to be thrifty. Aussie made, good quality, no irritation, great scents with longevity, good price and matching alcohol based aftershaves #Wotsnot2like

"You smell nice" - does she mean by saying that this morning that other mornings I don't? Not sure, but this one from @SchoolForAnts is certainly a winner!
