That Blutt from @neongas. One thing seeing a razor in @Errol's reviews, another seeing it in SOTD pics. There is something about it, not sure if I like it or not, but it certainly has 'something'!
I can attest that holding it in hand certainly evokes "something", as you so succinctly put it. I think it's akin to the Vector in its restrained design. That precise machining on the head.. in hand it's just marvelous, especially the little grooves that make up the safety bar "comb".

Polsilver
Troycraft 26mm 2-band Badger
Witch Hazel - Cucumber Splash
Azur Lime SE Cream
Blue Devil lavender

had to get the Azur Lime due to another post, been a while since I used a cream and this did not disappoint. The lather was quite slick and completed the first two passes without even feeling a blade in the razor ATG, WTG. Then swapped out for the BD lavender for the remaining two ATG passes. Have I ever mentioned i love this razor?? :)

I have a tube of almost-finished Novia Men Sensitive shaving cream left over from when I started SR shaving 2 years ago. This cream has been unavailable for many years now. I shaved with this cream during my cart days and for about the first month of my SR adventure. I then discovered Proraso green cream. The Nivea was then put away and never to be used again.

This morning I decided to return to the Nivea cream to see if it (really my technique) has improved shaving with this cream. It has!

I was very happy with the result. Not sure if it is up to the Proraso green cream standard. I will determine that tomorrow. If it is, I will allocate this Nivea cream with my Palmolive stick (Australian) for shaving before weddings, christenings and funerals.
