suds sampling: select and score

How about we agree on the 'smiley scale' as a basis for comparison?

(y)(y)(y) - Great soap, top shelf, a must have in your drawer

(y)(y) - Good soap, a worthy one to keep but missing something

(y) - Passable, it might work for somebody else but not you - maybe sell it cheaply so others can try

(n) - Hmmm, not quiet right here, disappointing - maybe PIF and see how others go

(n)(n) - I've tried but it doesn't seem to work - not worth the postage on a PIF, maybe swap at a face to face meet

(n)(n)(n) - this is a dog, not worth bothering with, put it down to experience and BIN IT!

What do you think @stillshunter ?

Mate noting it is a derivation of the @filobiblic metric® we will need his input....though I believe he developed this binary system in reaction to anything more elaborate - he's not so much an opponent of the spreadsheet as a proponent of the Principle of Parismony or Ockham's Razor is our @filobiblic

BTW: if I were to adhere to the '66 sixtet® then I'd rate the Catie's Bubbles Black Bergamot a "(n) - Hmmm, not quiet right here, dissappointing - maybe PIF and see how others go"
...though I'd fix the spelling mistake and go with ""(n) - Hmmm, not quiet right here, disappointing - maybe PIF and see how others go" seems more '66esque ;)

Typo fixed - thanks @stillshunter :) need a response from @filobiblic about the modification of his binary approach to a more nuanced hexadecimal version.

You blokes can take it to whatever power you want... I'm happy to sit back and watch the Stillsy shaving soap sample shenanigans.

Muchas Gracias. Thinking of picking up a stick for my holidays in January but would like to get some expert opinion.
...and per the 'rules' you'll have a sample arrive by next weekend to review yourself mate.
P.S., "expert" very, very hardly!

Update:

Need another selection to follow @Korbz 's selection which starts tomorrow (small deviation - trying Speick today to compare with La Toja). C'mon fellas, is there not something down there you'd also like to try....hey I even pay the postage! Also it's not a single serve thing....more than happy for folks to nominate multiple times. I'll balance the selections....

Tim's peach sounds nice. Wave some 444 over it and give us a preview as to what @Anthony's new soap may be like.

Since I had some fun in the first round, let's go on...

I believe this is one has some tallow in it?
Razorock Holy Cannoli

If yes, I would be game for another round...

Excellent, I've been keen to try this one. Love the smell of cannoli - grew up with them (only when I was good of course) as a child. YUM!

Oh how I WISH I had some exotic, amazing ethic heritage rather than just being boring whitebread anglo

Remember reading Looking for Alibrandi and longing for tomato days ...

Hold on a cotton picking moment... do I have to review it?

Count my request out.
