Pre: Hot shower then hot towel
Soap: Phoenix - Copalli
Bowl/Scuttle: Wood
Brush: Semogue 730 HD Silvertip Badger
Razor: Muhle R41 Rose Gold
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (1)
Post: Alum block
A/S: Proraso Cyprus and Vetiver

New blade and tested out the copalli soap, not a strong scent but perfect shiny dense lather, 3 solid passes then did some buffing and was rewarded with BBS. I didn’t think buffing with an aggressive razor would be advisable but I felt like it was even easier when running ATG than just a normal pass, always learning!! Pretty sure I’m not giving the scything a go though 😂

Twas a Bay Rum morning - ahhh

Interested to hear how it goes.

It will not do anything you cannot with a splitting axe / block splitter BUT it does make it a lot easier and does mean my FiL will not have to be waving a splitting axe / block splitter around! We got through a LOT of timber Saturday afternoon.

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Semogue 1305 boar
Soap/Cream: Squadron Sweetheart
Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Blade: Feather (4)
Post-shave: T.N. Dickinsons Witch Hazel
Fragrance: Pinaud Clubman Musk
Blown away by the Squadron soap; whipped up a beaut lather in no time at all and had plenty to spare after two passes.
The Blackbird is plenty blade forward, but super efficient without being scary aggressive (although it feels like it is).
The Semogue is fluffing up nicely. A very pleasant, enjoyable shave, near BBS.

Plissoft
Merkur 34c + Kai..6 and out
Cella Bil soap
Thayers toner,alcohol free.
Cella is quite good but not great, ignore the hype, but clean ingredient list and good performance.Would buy again but better soaps on the market

Blade:- Nacet (2)
Aftershave:- Stirling - Island Man

Hit shaving nirvana today single pass BBS with no touch ups required. The Wolfman has some blade feel like shaving with a scalpel it is so precisely efficient and may be more suited to a couple of days growth.
