I have Merkur 34c, Parker 24C and Muhle R41. Nowadays I use only Parker 24c .
And planning on trying Fatip Piccolo
How about you guys ? would be interesting to see what the best suited DE is for you
Cheers

Great question @JKMD (y)

Very hard to answer for me ATM - I have 5 in my rotation and love them all...mind you they all shave very similar...

1. Fatip with The Stray Whisker "Howitzer" Handle
2. RazoRock Old Type Open Comb
3. Razorock Mission
4. Muhle R41 v2013 with a MR5 Handle
5. Muhle R89 with a Weber Razor Classic Handle
6. Merkur 25C with a Weber Razor Classic Handle

99% of the time now I just grab the Fatip or the RazoRock Old Type Open Comb, I still love the R41 and I cannot sell all my other razors as I've still got my Standard Razor and the Rockwell 6s (y);)

Merkur Bakelite (with Ladas blade).

Razors I have used:
Gillette Slim
Gillette New - Open Comb
Merkur 34c
Merkur Bakelite

The 34c with a feather was my favourite until I received the Bakelite and put a Ladas blade in there. I have since sold the 34c!
The Slim was sold ages ago.
I still have the New, just for show.

Gotta go with my Rockwell 6S. My second razor. My first, a Merkur 38C, hasn't seen daylight since I got the Rockwell.

I don't like morning people... or mornings... or people. :)

I have about a dozen DEs and have used many more. The three that give me my closest, most irritation free shaves are the iKon Tech, the R41 and the Rockwell 6S. Of these the Rockwell is my choice, mainly because of the options it provides. It's also a darn sight more comfortable than the other two.

The razor so nice he named it twice ...

I will not list razors I've used

Nor will I list a rotation - that is not what is sought here.

I'm tempted to say, fairly truthfully, 'the one in my hand at the time'

BUT

if I had to nominate one razor above all others ...

one razor I would not do without ...

one razor I would never sell ...

one razor still around when all others are gone ...

It would be this one -

The 'best' one is the one I have to give away :)

Wonderful! I hope he appreciates it, or at least puts it away until such time as the penny drops as to what a wonder gift this is.
