Those who have been around for a while have a certain fondness for 'Vision Collision 4.0' but I wonder with the influx of new members whether it isn't time for an update?

RM as chief pooh-bah around here maybe you could tell us all the specifications needed for the logo file and we could run a competition for the best? I'd be happy to donate something for a prize to the winner.

What do you think?

I'm happy for people to have a go at it.

Use the current logo for sizing and background Vignette as a base. I would clear off the current bits and go from there.

Those that can't deal with the background, just submit a transparent PSD at 368*94px@72ppi and I will add the background. In fact I would probably prefer that anyway. Bonus points for having proper Illustrator vector artwork for any platypus-like characters who are shaving. I used to do text treatments all the time so I would probably want to tweak it.

I have recently installed Photoshop again so I can now do some editing... might rip together something temporary in the meantime.

I will ask a designer friend of mine that I previously worked with to see if she can have a crack at it too. She's still in the creative game whereas it could be argued that I never was!

WOW - that all sounds too complex for me.

I'm happy to chuck a prize towards a contest though!

Here yah go

The funny thing is that it's the wrong size, or I would have put it up!!!

I think any new logo needs some recognition of the history with Vision Collision 4.0. Maybe the koala (or is that Jesus ?) could have the 4.0 speech bubble from the existing logo added? My photoshopping (or more like MSPAINT) skills are pretty crappy so I won't even make an attempt...

My best attempt....

... not my forte!

Now those I like.

Anybody for a limited edition t-shirt, coffee mug, shaving brush...

It's a somewhat Cyrillic font, the ampersand looks like a sickle.

At Paste & Cut, the face shaves you.

Merch is the way to go though.

"I got shaved at Paste & Cut"

"Shave your soul - go to www.paste-and-cut.com.au"

This stuff writes itself.

On a mug - "Only mugs use carts"

It would look cool on a coffee mug though, I would buy one :)
