Gents,
What we're after here is a picture of your shaving gear in the bathroom......not all the boxes of stuff you're trying to hide in the cupboard or under your bed (Mitsi!). We're after the stand/pile/hanger or whatever you have there in your bathroom ready to grab your gear from before you get down to business.
There's one hard and fast rule......NO TIDYING UP or ARRANGING for the photo. You have to take the pic as is. Well nothing major anything you glamour seekers!
Then you've got to walk us through what you've got. Here's mine:
The key is a pretty cheap chromed stand I got at a $2 shop, works into a corner quite well. The gap on the shelves is perfect for the 5 or so razors in my rotation to hang between the racks, put a lil electric tape around them to make sure there was no scratching. The lil plastic box has whatever blades I'm getting through at present...obligatory alum thats been dropped 2 dozen times and now looks like a deranged cavemans first attempt at a flint tool!!!
Haha ok now before I'm lynched that is womens toner in the white bottle....but it does have enough menthol crystals (pre-dissolved in rubbing alcohol) to almost strip paint. The toner is basically witchhazel hence handy for 'shaves that go badly'.....or 'Make a mental note to change blade out after 4 shaves!'.
Some 3P Post-Shave cream I got from Mr626......sorry I'm not a huge fan. Think paraffin based cross between Vicks Vaporub and toothpaste. :-/
Hanging underneath, courtesy of cheapie lil rare earth magnets glued on are my 3 in use brushes....#6 Bestshave Horsey, Omega 10005 & Jaguar Pro (both boar).
Moving on to the bottom shelf.....we've some mixed shaving cream tubes Godrej Menthol Mist is worth picking up if you're going by an Indian grocery store. Shaving bowl (which is a soup bowl I got for 20c from an Op shop) and my hybrid shaving soap tub - which is squished together Arko & P.160 Tipo Duro.
Nothing spesh but it all works reasonably well and everything was very reasonably priced.
Who's next?
