I’ve just realised something.

I can bid as much as I like. On paper - I donate to charity directly. And tell my CFO I made a generous donation to charity all without a single financial ledger to say I had added to the shaving den.

Win win!

Will the ATO hurry up processing my return so I can participate? Couple of things I got my eye on so may just throw caution to the wind regardless
 
My insurance company (that I work for) is refunding my excess due to the uninsured third party accepting blame for damage he caused in January this year! Stupid stupid me gave the joint bank account details for the money to go into!!!!!!
