Not long now fellas!
I’m gonna bring some razors as my software game is weak.
What razors do you have on trade?
Ummm currently I don’t think I actually have anything to trade, I cleared a bit out befor the end of the year,
I was gonna bring along my Red ring, fatboy (so people can see Dave’s work) and possibly my Masonic gear as I have been asked to film a little thing about them.
Probably bring something like blades again dispite me coming home with almost as many as I left with last time...
Like to try and bing something for you guys to take home
I found the bar and the boats
Well it is a lousy photo but a good time was had by all (I think!)
Four intrepid sailors battled the waves and the wind on the lake to make it all the way to the Canberra Avenue bridge from Kingston. The wine was drunk, and some spilt , and the cheese eaten and we retired to be joined by Neil at a local pub afterwards. Good company and great conversation. Thanks guys!
Certainly would encourage visitors to GoBoat when in Canberra
It was a good time to be sure!
Thanks for organising it @Mark1966 really terrific
I had a bloody fantastic time @Mark1966!
And even the heavens cleared just for us... Or maybe it was the wedding we boated past?
At any rate, you keep setting a higher bar!
I'm sure we will make the other groups jealous when they hear about the group shave and mani-pedi...
It is the fine company we have here in CBR that makes the time well spent
It was a fantastic time with great company, the go-boat was a great amount of fun. I just hope the skipper had as much fun as the rest of us
The skipper had great fun, although I've heard he cannot hold his liquor ...
Only regret is those who could not make it
Looking forward to catching up again soon!
I maintain the boat was like that when we got there
Huh. Here's the wedding we observed.
Interesting that we witnessed something historically significant... We almost ended up in the background of some of those shots.
For what it's worth, it looked lovely.
Just to prove how brave we were -
See, it CAN get rough on the lake!
Dude, seriously. It's Canberra and a lake ....
@todras, We lost a long standing and respected member of the Paste and cut Canberra team on that lake. A day of mourning is to be declared for @Mark1966's glass of red wine
Half foot swells had everyone going for the life jackets.
There was one random pointy protuberance from the middle of the lake...
I bet certain spreadsheets saw a flurry of editing after that expenditure!
=if((wave≥6inches)&(wind≥2knots),"hold wine glass","oops")
(not the correct syntax. But it'll do)
