Cast Iron cookware

I bought my first cast iron pan a few days ago. It is seasoning as we speak. In the shop there was a cheap Chinese one for $25, and an expensive American one for $75, the same size. Even the man in the shop said once they were properly seasoned, there was not a whole lot of difference. I went with the $25 option.

I'm using coconut oil to season. Fingers crossed. I'm now waiting for my housemate to get home and go cross because the place is so smoky.
