OK, you had me looking for Montblanc's but the price tags soon cured me.
That 1960's line is generally more affordable than their three digit models, and write just as well.

Yep; they come up on the bay from time to time, FPN is a better bet, and you'll pay a little less and be sure of the condition. The other place to look, oddly enough, is Yahoo.jp

They are lovely pens, especially if you enjoy the more vibrant colours. I paid a pretty decent amount for this, and while I love it, if I am honest about it, it wasn't entirely worth the premium. I have some lovely vintage pens that cost a fraction of this one, hold more ink, and write just as well. No regrets, just the facts!

Fair enough. The Japanese pens are great if you like fine points, which you clearly do. About the smallest I use is the Japanese Medium on my Namiki/Pilot pens, which would be a fine point on a western pen. Broad stubs work best with my handwriting.They are lovely pens, especially if you enjoy the more vibrant colours.
