Hello my name is Jono. Should have checked in Australia 1st for a decent Blog. *Slaps face* Lands on the paste-and-cut doormat.

I am an avid blogger and like to mix up my own shaving routine and grooming products too. As an Aussie bloke, it's always best to have mates who use and can recommend products.

Hey @MANBRAND! Glad that you landed here. What's your blog site? I'm an avid blog-reader. [emoji4] Shaving + blog = all good. Although, the keen beans happen to use YouTubes these days... Me, I've got a face for a blog, but the writing skills for YouTube. So I do neither!
 
And you can't be too vague, what hardware and software are you currently packin'?

Good luck with the new business mate! It's always tough getting something up and running. Always seems more goes in and less comes as a result in the beginning...

Just saw the website. So you're taking on the Dollar Shave Club here in Oz? You should run with a Traditional Shave Club just to be different. [emoji4]

Do you - yourself - use Double Edge blades in a safety razor (or a straight or shavette) usually? You should give it a whirl if you haven't given it a chance!

Yes the plan is to increase the product range and include personalised products like engraved Double edge Razors. I am a Merkur fan myself. Am building up the confidence to straight shave. You just can't beat it.

P.S Thanks for not tearing me a new one for selling cartridges.. Ha Ha ! with the new site it's a service model.

So is the plan to add DE razors and blades down the track? They don't seem too compatible with the carts...

I guess with Carts the money is in the blades, but for the DE/safety razors the money is in the software (soaps, AS, etc). It's a different kettle of fish...

I do think you ought to add some great Aussie soaps and creams. However if you're aiming at the cost-savings market, then you probably won't hit them with nice (but comparatively exy) soaps...
 
Yup, you are talking my language. The commercial pharma market is average and overpriced here in Australia. People deserve quality gear sourced or supplied through specialty local suppliers. I am a big advocate for the home grown, quality niche. Including creams and soaps, I guess the key is making it readily available and creating ownership of products and brands, so my team are keen to discuss co promotion for fellow Paste and Cut members gear to.

Are you going to look to branch out into other products like aftershaves and soaps or just stick to razors and blades?

Uh This is a generous offer... but I'm enjoying my straight and DE shaving.

Indeed fair call, DE shaving products are high on our agenda and we are expanding new bathroom products all the time. The trial pack offer is open to any paste and cut member that would like to try and compare our 3 blade to what's on the market today (as far as system razors go). Our disposables are for everything else and are good to travel with. Paste and Cut is the best shaving forum in Aus/Nz and I would open to put our brand on the line.

My Grandfather uses cartridges still.
Will inquire as to his interest, naturally if you're willing to appreciate that he could not afford a direct online review.
