Nlow this is an opinion only thread.

So being sold "Brand New Vintage Gillette Quick Twist Safety Razor"
& Condition "New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item" As for the unopened part that's not entirely true but leave that aside.

However take a look at the picture - Handle in point

I asked about this and got the following reply "Yes I did. It has never been used. it’s still solid and fixed. The crack has developed naturally given its age.
It’s a show piece. The crack is shown only on one side"

Is it possible this can happen "crack has developed naturally given it's age"

Absolutely possible.

Cheap/poor polymers become brittle over time, especially if it was stored under too much light. Temperature and humidity changes could also be the culprit...

Of course it is also absolutely possible, that it developed due to mishandling of the razor ;)

Well Gillette’s brass razors likes to cracks of their own accord.

Thanks guys appreciate, interesting to know though it could happen then. By the way the asking price is $230.00 + postage on it

How about no cracks for $19.00 then
I was gonna say wasn’t it you selling one for like $10+ Post?
Clearly the most charitable offer going on a razor apparently

Nearly me but I can hook you up for $19 you wannit
I’m on sabbatical so nah.

I’ve actually never tried one though- how are they anyway- being fairly new I’m guessing mild
