Hi all,

Besides the Proraso range what else is there in its price range out there?

The Latha Range from Barrister and Mann represents excellent value for money with artisan flair at around the same price.

Available from @shavetheman at his online store

There is also 'Arko' shave soap, which is very, very cheap and some people seem to like.

Just a heads-up @Dan.05 , you have used the 'Review' tag on these posts when they are more a request for information rather than a review of a shave soap. The site moderator @Mark1966 is a stickler for correct categories, spreadsheets and the 'numbers' being correct :)

For cheap soaps Cella and the La Toja shave stick come to mind. Two excellent soaps. Also The Sudsy Soapery.

I like to lather up using a brush. Any soaps in cake form. Sorry forgot to specify.

Just like the feeling of lathering up with the brush.

Mitchell's Wool Fat refill is also very cheap and it last a very long time, and the cheapest to get MWF is at Connaught Shaving http://connaughtshaving.com/mitchellsshaving.html
Cella 1.0kg block of shaving soap is also very cheap and it last forever also at Gifts&Care http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/shaving-soaps/864-jabon-de-afeitar-cella-1kg-8001117570655.html
La Toja Shaving Soap Stick is also very cheap at Gifts&Care http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/shav...ch_query=La+Toja+Shaving+Soap+Stick&results=1
Lea
refill shaving soap is also very cheap at Gifts&Care http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/shav...afeitar-lea-classic-100gr--8410737003427.html
Tabac refill shaving soap is also very cheap at Gifts&Care http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/shaving-soaps/1109-tabac-jabon-de-afeitar-recambio-4011700436309.html
Haslinger refill Sheepmilk & Lanolin Shaving Soap (very similar to MWF) is also very cheap at Gifts&Care http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/shav...ar-haslinger-lanolina-60gr-9002070060657.html

When you order from Gifts&Care remember to include the vouchers code is P&C and you'll get 10% off which is a lot cheaper in bulk order around 6 or more soaps without the container or bowl (y) the more you order from Gifts&Care the more you save using the vouchers code.

You do always have the option of badger shaving co in Canada. They have surface parcel as an option which is cheap as chips. Yes, it takes 3 months but just depends if money>time.

My two fav cheap soaps are the speick stick (which you can grate up as @Drubbing mentions), or Haslinger Schafmilch.
I rarely mention the speick on SOFTD as I tend to use it when traveling or working away and usually can't be arsed posting, but it is excellent soap.

Sorry. My bad.

No blood no foul.

If I had noticed it I just would have changed it ;) The OCD in me!

Some good suggestions above. Still with local or Gifts & Care or postage will change the dynamics ..

Some awesome suggestions from the group. Once again I put a question out and am overwhelmed from the response.

Haha! There's a lot of opinions around here!!!

Throwing a question out amongst wet shavers is like throwing hot chips to seagulls!
