GSLer seeks safe harbour

We do tend to bag them a lot which although deserving could be off putting to some who are active there. There are some really nice people on there and if you're just interested in collecting or need information it's pretty good.

IIRC, the mod's name was Third Eye. Can't remember the name of his business, although it was widely spruiked there. But it's dead and gone now. Given the history, you'll probably need a PhD in Comp Science backend logistics to find any mention of it on their site anymore.

Correct user ?

When can I expect my Drubbing issued PhD in Comp Science backend logistics btw ;)

G'day, this is a top-up post to the welcome mat to see if i can now post. I tried weeks/months ago, and failed horribly. Hopefully what I wanted to share with you all will work with a post in another area to do with Australian shaving soap/cream. :)

Hi again. it appears i am still failing to post into the general area, shaving cream and shaving soap. I am sorry to say that i must link to a forum i could post to where some GSLrs visit.

Hi again Craig, you might find it quite likable to share the love and post more ;)
Hope to see more of you around these waters :)

Spam filter means you need to post here and like stuff before getting open access.

So I was right - GSL did die (for a few weeks at least).
I hadn't even looked back there as I presumed it was still dead.

No stupid rule about having to have posted 250 times elsewhere YKW anymore either. It's almost looking like they briefly found some sense.

I clicked on a friend's post ykw and went to the page (he was selling something), i just wanted to reconnect. The page said i had insufficient privilege and needed 45 days and 50 posts. idk as nearly my profile has 1450 posts and joined in 2008. still scratching my head? Over the last couple, few years i had planned to sell or swap some razors, but it's just too hard ;)

There's plenty of people who like to be taken advantage of enabled here. Like a few comments and soon you can sell anything, even your mother's wooden leg, if you can in any way relate it to shaving.

Hi Bushranger
I've already started a thread here for the Washpool Farm shaving soap. I've been using it for the past two weeks (both Test Soap #2 & #3). I've now passed it on to @MrT and will let those coming on Saturday's meet up get to try some also.

cheers. eggbert (who may well also be the eggman) steered me to that. Thankyou, i will add to it when i can, and objectively.

You should be right now, the second stage of your membership has unlocked.

No turning back now :)

And don't forget to wander off topic at every possible opportunity, every one else does :)
Indeed and speaking of a safe harbour, careful of some here, they will try to sell you the bridge over it ;)

No one here runs off topic.

Why, I remember in my day, like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say.
Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...
