Hi all,

I recently got into DE shaving - have just bought a couple of the suggested blade samplers from tryablade, no idea what I'm doing for soaps etc.

Looking to learn a lot more.

Plenty of knowledge round here from some, the rest of us are eye candy Not sure how recently you got into the DE scene, but can be handy to keep with a consistent kit for a while to build technique (not that I listened to that advice when I started). Enjoy the ride mate

Welcome @Alex T I have to agree with the above comments you really can't go wrong with any of the Shaver Heaven products. What's your current razor and blade of choice? Never underestimate not only a good soap but making sure you have a good lather, they are the foundation to any shave.

Here's a few soap/cream suggestions:
- Proraso Green or Omega, if you like eucalyptus & menthol
- Proraso Sandalwood
- Cella, if you like almond scent
- Any Taylor of Old bond Street (Avocado and Coconut, personal picks)
- Arko if you like strong citrus scent
- Palmolive shaving cream
- Erasmic shaving cream
