Autumn is upon us!

Time for some of those winter scents, that new razor or those new blades to stockpile before winter.

What has come into you hands people - do tell, with pictures even better ;)

I like the look. I thought Wardonias used a proprietary blade though I don't know much about them really. I will be interested to see how you get on with it, I have been tempted to buy one in the past.

The Wardonias are mostly designed for a proprietary blade but you can use any blade, just need to snip the four tabs near the central post to allow the blade to fit. Expect a lot of blade feel and a somewhat aggressive shave.
 
I went into acquisition overload recently and have got a fair few razors and companions on their way:
  • B&M Russe
  • P&B Spitfire (soap and wax cologne)
  • Simpsons lavender and vetivert cream
  • Timeless bronze 0.38 & 0.65 OC, smooth cap with plaid handle
  • ATT Windsor Mixed Metal (copper handle and cap) with the R plate
  • OneBlade Core
  • Charcoal Goods bishop handle, level 1 SB plate and SS cap
will post some photos when these start coming in.

Jeebus! Not stuffing around with your acquisitions.Good stuff mate.
 
I know, but I figured, I've been doing this whole shaving thing wrong for the past 20 years or so and I plan on doing it for the next 40 odd, so why not use some gear that is quality and maybe my grandkids might use. Buy once cry once.

About 7 years ago I bought a cheap DE from China and I just hated it from the start, poor build quality, crappy shave etc. So I've been using my Merkur 38 c. Then I found some of these forums and my wallet has been a lot lighter since, but you can't take it with you so why not enjoy it.
 
Not shaving related but still a great purchase :happy:

Does it count as a March acquisition if it’s in the post, but ordered in Feb?

22mm Sam & Son Teak handle Silvertip (actually ordered in March)
Blade sampler from Beard & Blade (just arrived)

So all in all I think I have spent way too much, but it’s addictive. Almost ordered some aftershaves and a soap bowl as well, but feel I should rest the CC for a few days

I got a new razor!!!
Rockwell 6S (man it was hard to choose between this and the 6C)
B&M Le Grand Cyhpre Splash (have the matching soap coming)
Voskhod razor pack (I'm on a quest to find a go to blade - It has been Feather but I'm thinking they are to harsh for me, because every second or third shave with them leaves me bleeds and raw)
Lockhart's Nevermore Matte Paste (I didn't really need this but could not pass it up with the Poe theme - the packaging is fantastic, that's a wax seal with a raven!!!)

I'm a bit torn now with my blade quest. Do I stick with the EJ DE89 untill I find some blades I love or just jump right into the 6S
