Edit:- Never mind I’ve read why you got two hippie brushes.
"....taking it for a run tomorrow morning".
Hi @StratMan good going there mate.
You've done well...and bought 2 of them! (even though only 1 is for you).
Good looking brush aren't they?
Don't forget to wash or shampoo it first though.
Looking forward to your review tomorrow.
Maybe a few lathers with a shitty soap you might have laying around. Get any colouring out before you take to face.I have never washed a synth before.. sounds like it is a necessary step
so just a fake palm lather with shaving soap will do?
That definitely deserves an Enabler of the Month award ...
Before i forget @StratMan, i was on Maggards website and seen that they recently got stock of The Club Signature soaps to go with your aftershave you already have!
Must have been a day for Yaqi's
Dry they feel a whole lot better than the dense spongy knot PIF'ed to @astinus4. I'll bring these along to the December meet up.
The White Knight Boss knot is a bit softer than Sagrada Familia with marginally less backbone
whats the knot size on that @Holiday?
24/53mm knot, feels like a Simpson Chubby 1 style is a fantastic brush and I love itthe sagrada looks like it has a tuxedo knot? whats the knot size on that @Holiday?
I took @Blackie Looking forward to mastering the B&M Reserve with these beauties.
@Blackie reviving an old post here, but how do you rate the far-right black, marbled brush? Considering buying one on their Aliexpress store and stumbled across your pictureBought two more Yaqi's. They arrived 2 days ago from Yaqi Australia. Well packaged too.
The Evil Zebra (Snow Leopard knot), and the Rainbow (Pony knot).
Both are 26mm and I have posed them beside a Timeless to give you an idea of size.
The other Yaqi's (on the outer sides) are both 24mm. A Tuxedo (Black Marbled handle, right of photo), and a Happy Hippy (Alpine knot).
Used the Rainbow twice now. It's a lather monster...holds a lot of lather. I like the longer handle as it lets me get down into some of the soap tubs that are a tad tall (and the shorter handles bang against the sides when I'm lathering up with soap).
Awesome, thank you! Those are a good brush. I'm on my 2nd one now (that's the one in the photo).
My original one is still going strong after 4 years use (but I have the Evil Zebra, and the Rainbow Pony Knot to play with as well. Both are 26mm).
I haven't counted lately...I think I have 5 Yaqi brushes now.
24mm, nice face feel, lather up like a champ.
I bought 2 more (1 for son, and 1 for son-in-law). No complaints from them either.
I think you will like it.
