Good point, Mate but no - this was not the issue. It was his interpretation that the soap was "soft", or as we call it, a "croap". I insisted that we open the tub and demonstrated with my finger than it was pretty bloody firm (firmer than Cella), but he was not budging. No point making a scene.
And @SpeedyPC - Rasierseife translates as Shaving Soap in German. The airport in question was Frankfurt.

Nearly forgot this. One Semogue 1305 Boar. Hanging out to try this too but using brushes I'm familiar with whilst working on the travelling box. My wife thinks my boar brushes ugly but she likes this one which makes a purchase easier.
