I found this handle when I was back in the UK a few weeks ago and it had a very sad looking blonde knot in it. I tried to use it and the thing shed like crazy. So I sent it off to @Tony Forsyth who replaced the old knot with a lovely manchurian bulb knot. The brush is now in great working nick. However, I have no idea of the make or brand. Being that I found it at my parents home, it is most likely to be of English heritage, but I could be wrong. The brush has some heft, about 82 grams and is very well made (approx dimensions: handle 50 mm, diameter 23mm, but these are very rough guestimates, not measured sizes). Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks to @Tony Forsyth for the great job of restoring.

Looks like a Vulfix 406 handle to me. Also known as the Burlington.

Picked this up a while back but forgot to post. It is a vintage Creed (tallow) soap from the late '60s/early '70s - Epicea. The fragrance has been vaulted for some time.
Still in original cellophane wrap. Looking forward to giving it a whirl......

Hey @Nightguard Thanks for that, yes indeed it does look like a Vulfix 406 having done some Googling. That would also fit with its likely origin. Also, there was some very faint writing on the handle before I sent it off to Tony for re-knotting, but not enough to make sense of, but would fit with those images that Google throws up. Much appreciated.
