Nice haul Phil! I've done the rounds of antique stores, op shops and garage sales but haven't come across a thing! Can't blame Canberra's size or blandness per se but do fear negotiating a used market landscape in the wake of Cyclone @Mark1966

Haven't been hunting locally for AGES!

Ohhh - when did these arrive?

WHAT?? Mine are still sitting Pitney Bowes' Erlanger mailing center! And the Gillette Platinums are too dammit.

Both have been sitting there for 7 days, going nowhere. Useless as tits on a bull that lot.

7 days from the states for mine ...

Like that some times

I'd put $10 on them actually being in Australia, but Auspost's shitty system is unable to update it until the package is already in your grubby hands.

I have one package coming through USPS where the USPS system tells me that the item is in Darwin, but Auspost is saying that it is still 3 steps back in Chicago.

The problem is that they show as arrived in Erlanger, but they do not show leaving. Every single time I have had a Global Shipping item, it shows that it has been dispatched from there with 'Delivery Carrier' or something like that - generally UPS or FedEx.

GSP/Pitney Bowes :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: (and that's a refrained number in consideration for @Drubbing)
PS typing in the "at sign" and Drubsta brought up Drubbing, nice work :)

Well, my two boxes of White Plats turned up today. Looks like the GSP data was not being uploaded to Google.

Still waiting on the Vintage English Platinums, and the French Wilkies from Poland.

Finished off October with my G+C show-bag finally arriving (hallelujah!). So doing Mowing-vember with:
  • Muhle R41 (thanks to @JugV2 - I went the flaccid 2013 version but…)
  • Fatip Piccolo (always been curious)
  • Semogue 1305 (see what the fuss is about with these Moggies and how it compares to the Omegas)
  • Myrsol Balsamic Water - blew my weights with the 180ml glass bottle because it just looks the stuff!!!!
  • Haslinger Sheepmilk & Lanolin Shaving Soap (sounds tops!)
  • 444 AS balm - to two finger salute (egg-style) the heat
  • and a handful of Polsilvers and Bolzanos - just before tipping the scales on the order weight. Polsilvers have worked OK for me in the past…and wanted the Bolzanos so I can have an all-Italian shave (Fatip, Bolzano, Omega, Cella, Proraso)

My money's on the Weber - God I love that razor!!!
What's the handle you have on it there - the Classic?

Yes that's the classic, uncanny how similar it is to 38c and 38m. If it shaves as well or better then dam I will be in love!!
Not to tarnish your opinion before going through it firsthand yourself, I found the Weber looked a lot like the EJ89 but shaved far, far smoother and a little more aggressively - certainly closer.

Mate I'm super excited to hear your review….is it time to shave yet?
