I buy my lapping films on AliExpress. They come in packets of 7; 30μm, 12μm, 9μm, 5μm, 3μm, 1μm and 0.3μm. The 30μm is used for heavy metalwork, 12μm light metalwork and 9μm for bevel setting. The rest, except for 0.3μm, is used for edge refining. I don't normally use the 0.3μm.
For instructions on honing with lapping films, see here:
As the 30, 12 and 9μm wear out faster, I now use synthetic whetstones in their place. As such, I have the following lapping films up for grabs:
30μm (1 x new)
12 μm (1 x new & 1 x part used)
9μm (1 x new & 1 x part used)
0.3μm (1 x new & 1 x part used)
Each piece is 72mm x 279mm and are not backed with PSA.
