Also @Mycroft47 go to badger and blade, against the grain and the shaving room website, because, many wet shavers highly recommended Arko shaving stick as an insect repellent against mosquitoes, for those who really needed a good shave during summer wet/dry season.

Yeah.... Trust me, it's bloody strange when having the famous piss stick (Arko), and is fantastic for insect repellent against mosquitoes, while someone like myself needed a good shave without have these bloodsucking bastard around it's really ignoring.

The upside of ARKO is that the lather is actually quite excellent. There had to be an upside.

Arko does create an excellent lather quality, but, it does dry out the skin for most wet shavers as YMMV.

Had my eye on one of these for a while. A decent Black Friday saving and the purchase was made.
Upon arrival the factory edge was knocked back without even a trial. The bevel was set with a Shapton 4K glass stone followed by the 6K and 8K.
The blade was finished on a Nakayama with Mejiro slurry.
HHT impressive, Shave.......... devine.​

Not much time ago, i had posted here my humble opinion about the scent of Arko Stick, after doing only a test lather. Given my recent digging about Cella, i thought to make another small search about Arko's ingredients, since people can't even agree on what the smell is... And at least to me...
