Shave of the Day Thread - 2019

First post of the year!

My den is still mostly packed up as I am waiting for some shelving to be installed at the new house in the bathroom. I have been using a very good limited set every few days but I do miss the variety since the wedding... and thought others would too so didn't post here.

For those sitting on the fence with APR Florian EdP, I've worn it almost every day this year. It gets better and better and the new wife loves it. I'm now down to about 40%.

The Yaqi two band is just awesome! It's plenty dense, even at the loft of 55mm.
If this was set at the 48-50mm as many makers do, I'd be surprised if it didn't exhibit the density of "premium" badger brushes, along with their annoying lather hogging tendency.

The rich, creamy lather of MWF whipped up by the Yaqi felt awesome!
I still prefer synthetics overall but there's a certain face feel of a badger that no other type of brush can match!

I also don't like very long handles but this looks so nice in person and it's very ergonomic.

I ended up getting a synthetic with the same handle too
