Second shave with the $5 DOC head from China. I spent a good amount of time trying to ensure the blade was centred and it wasn't very easy. Quite a bit of wiggle room which needs to be countered as you attach the handle. That's why it's $5, right there.

Shave was good again for the most part but I ended up switching to an old fat handled Tech in the pickups to get the job done as it was close to hand and more reliable.

The DOC becomes a display only razor head as it is attractive but maybe not quite good enough to be a regular.

Thanks for taking one for the team!

no photo today as the rugrats woke up late (for the first time ever...) and I was running late. Due to this I had to opt for quick and easy with the ability to take down the weekend whiskers.

Omega boar
Simpsons - lavender & vetiver
Charcoal Goods, lvl 3, OC, Magnum handle

end result very smooth with no nicks, so happy days.

I wonder who makes this DOC.
I have 4 of them from Yaqi and they all align perfectly without any fiddling.
Perhaps there's multiple manufacturers out there is the same design.

Pre-shave: Shower, Glycerine
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Tuxedo
Soap/Cream: APR - Florian
Razor: Rockwell 6C, Ikon Bamboo Handle (3)
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Post-shave: Cold water splash, Flroian splash

Changed up my grip to three fingers+thumb on handle and pinky finger underneath, seems to give more control and was able to lighten the touch to the skin.
