Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20 drops) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (5) / The Stray Whisker Aftershave Balm (Australian made)

Wolfman is the clear winner but not much between Karve and Piccolo
If the animal cruelty conscience ever gets the better of me will definitely go with Vie-Long 22mm Brown Horse Hair it's a pleasure to lather with.

What's the loft height like @Holiday for the Vie-Long 22mm, how's the flow through lather on your face and backbone feel?
 
Hi @SpeedyPC it was 2nd hand and I have not been able to find exact model on internet but appears to be `50-52mm of hair exposed
It is loading different to boar or badger just soak, squeeze and lather on puck without much additional water.
A light proto-lather and not picture worthy but just paints on nice and slick. Could be due to the LPL soap as well
Not much backbone but not floppy either. Hoping it doesnt become wet noodles after a few uses

I liked that soap, first time use. Powdery sweet musk. 3 Pass BBS. The kai blade completed 4 good shaves in 2 different razorsand is still smooth.. Impressed, it still shaves really well. Could never do that with a Feather.

Overall a good shave today but I reckon the Personna blade in the slant works much better for me than the Rubie's do. Having said that, I haven't found a razor I have that pairs well with the Rubie for me yet. Guess I'll have to try a different combo.
