Hi mate,is this Trufitt soap a good performer.
I recall being told that one of the major U,k, makers soap was very ordinary
They reformulated a few years ago and I found the new formula to be a good performer. IMO a lot of the performance issues people tend to have with hard soaps come down to lathering technique and user error TBH.

Pre-shave: Proraso Red
Brush: Omega 10048
Soap/Cream: B&M Reserve Spice
Razor: Schick Krona
Blade: Wilkinson Sword (6)
Post-shave: Alum block, Witch hazel, Bulldog original aftershave balm, B&M Reserve Spice
Hair Tonic: Eau de Quinine

I think six shaves will about do it for the German Wilkie. As for the Krona, it's taken centre stage for now and won't budge. I typically don't like the feel of lightweight or long handled razors and the Krona is both of these albeit the handle is "longish" rather than long, although I just compared it too a long handled black beauty and the difference in handle length is only around 5mm or so. I find the long handled black beauty cumbersome but the length, weight and balance of the Krona fantastic and performance is superb. A wonderful razor...!

Razor: Wolfman WR2 SB WRH7 SS
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (1)
Brush: Doug Korn D7 Turquoise
Lather: Stirling Gin & Tonic

It's great to be back home - especially if a new member of the Wolfpack is waiting for you. Blown away by the "basic" polishing done by Mr. Dafour and the razor is a joy to shave with. Surprisingly there is a lot of blade feel on the face, but in a somehow calm and reassuring way. Silky smooth and very efficient with a 5 day growth and I am very much looking forward to get to know the WR2 in more detail!

I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday (y)

Pre-shave: Proraso Wood & Spice
Brush: Muhle nom Pure Badger Tortoiseshell
Cream: Proraso Wood & Spice
Razor: QSHAVE Adjustable
Blade: Astra
Post: Alum, followed by Proraso Wood & Spice Cologne
Fragrance: (the cologne was enough)

So far, out of all the blades I've tried (gillette 7 o'clock, feather, derby extra and premium), the astra has given me the closest shave.
