Whats the Yaqi 30mm like compared to a nice boar brush?

I've been turned off the Badger and Synths because I find them too soft and can't load from the tub easily.

Whats the Yaqi 30mm like compared to a nice boar brush?

I've been turned off the Badger and Synths because I find them too soft and can't load from the tub easily.

I've yet to try a synth that comes close to a badger for density and face feel.
I have both a Yaqi and TF Customs in 30mm tuxedo and of the synthetics they're easily my favourite synth knot.

Great size and density with good backbone and so far no signs of broken bristles. Saying that I'm keen to try an AP Shave Co. Silksmoke 26mm fan style as they claim to be extra dense:

Well I’m unscathed after shaving with it this morning. Got a pretty good result actually (but I put that down to the 6S with some fantastic Noble Otter soap I recently acquired from @tim33z ). What I noticed was the lack of smoothness and comfort with the blade. Sure it gets the job done, but a Feather, Nacet or Permasharp feels so much better on my skin.
When the cost per shave of the very best blade is measured in <$0.10 increments, it’s really just not worth fooling around with substandard blades.

I wouldn't call them crap, but they are on the lower end of performance vs value.
