Great shave to start the week, although I'm wondering if @Razor Burn puts a cherry in each cheek as he shaves and whether that helps to stretch the skin?

Pre-shave:- Hot towel
Brush:- Yaqi Mew Brown Moka Express
Soap/Cream:- Oleo Soapworks 'Citrus Verde'
Razor:- Karve CB OC-D
Blade:- Personna 'Israeli Red' (1)
Post Shave:- Thayers, Clubman Musk

The Karve had fallen out of favour recently; I was thinking the brass felt a little draggy. However I eventually realised it needed a little polish, and after a quick scrub with toothpaste it was as slick as any stainless razor. Citrus was exactly what was needed after a stinking hot day yesterday, perfect for a fresh new morning shave. The Personna handled a 3 day growth with ease; a DFS+ approaching BBS. Sweet as.

Should of ditched the blade, not a bad shave but not the smoothest either. Tabac was a nice touch, I forgot how nice and slick this soap lathers

This razor/blade/operator combo has been so efficient 4/7 shaves have resulted in single pass DFS+
Sandpiper is quickly becoming one of my favourite scents Inspired by YSL La Nuit de l'Homme
This scent has top notes of Cardamom, middle notes of Bergamot, Cedar, and Lavender, and base notes of Vetiver and Caraway.
Add a few drops of menthol and it would be a contender to replace Reef Point Command Presence

Pre-shave:- Hot Shower
Brush:- TF Customs / P&C 2020 charity auction - Ivory 2 band finest.
Soap/Cream:- Declaration Grooming - Opulence
Razor:- Muhle - Rocca R94
Blade:- Gillette - Stainless (21)
Post Shave:- Declaration Grooming - Opulence AS splash / Nivea Men Deep Moisturiser

2 pass WTG, XTG = DFS+. Another nice shave. After the hand strop and blade flip, I achieved a DFS+ without the touchups. At 21 shaves on this blade, I am impressed, and I shall continue.

The soap, Declaration Grooming - Opulence. Scent Strength medium off the puck and medium for the splash. Scent notes, Top notes are Apple, Lavender, Mandarin Orange and Bergamot; middle notes are Geranium, Violet and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Cardamom, Sandalwood, Pepper, Patchouli and Guaiac Wood. I would describe the scent as Oriental with a light floral note.

Apparently the scent is based off Perfumes De Marley - Layton

To my nose it is a complex scent. I pickup the Apple, lavender, violet, jasmine, bergamot, vanilla, sandalwood, pepper, patchouli, woodiness. This not a citrus forward scent. The apple is only there for a brief second mixed with the lavender before its taken over my the middle and base note scents. I can barely make out the bergamot. This is a very well rounded scent and I like how the base notes of vanilla and Sandalwood and refinement.

I would Classify the scent as a neutral scent that could be worn by both men or women. I would also say the scent is an Autumn or spring scent. Due to the splash having really good staying power and the scent is just so well blended, I give this soap and splash combo a thumbs up(y).

Pre: Shower
Razor: WR2 1.25
Blade: Feather
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Pony
Soap: Declaration Grooming TSM Fougere
Post: Chatillon Lux TSM Fougere Splash

Following on from the success of a very steep angled shave with the WR2, I decided to give the feather another go and I was not disappointed. Was surprised at just how smooth the shave was, while retaining the feather sharpness. I would say that was the smoothest feather shave with any razor except for the DE89.

So far to date the feather + WR2 combo with a very steep angle has changed everything, quite surprised at how much difference the angle you shave with makes on the WR2 😊

@alfredus.. it seems the issue was not with the razor config, but more so a user error (y)
