Pre: Coconut Oil
Soap: Pb Nettle n Neem
Brush: SOC Cherry Boar
Razor: TI Flower Pattern

The Nettle n Neem provided a lovely lather this morning and works surprisingly well with the APR Fougere Trois.
We got a lot of rain last night. It's quite a few years since we've seen water in this dam.

Did you go for a swim???

After, can't waste good aftershave. Tropical shower, more of a cold rinse. Sometimes have 5 a day just to wash off the perspiration and change into some dry clothes.

Jeff how are you finding the straight razor experience?

Enjoying every minute of it. The preparation and stropping compliments the ritual joy of wet shaving. Something very satisfying about sharpening your own blade to a razor sharp edge and then shaving with it.

Forgive me P&C but it’s been four days since my last shave!! and tell you what, the wr2 cut through like it was nothing and did so very smoothly.

So yesterday wasn't the most successful shave. The GC performed perfectly, the soap lathered nicely (eventually) and then there was the brush...

I havd used the Ministry of Shaving Silvertip less than 1/2 a dozs times when then this happened as I stated to lather the soap.

I think I might try to reset the knot with some adhesive.

Razor is fine, soap is very ordinary and that brush - that is not acceptable and worth correspondence with the retailer/manufacturer.

Overall to get a shave that merely "wasn't the most successful" you have done remarkable well!

SOTW

Brush: Yaqi 30mm
Face: Merkur 34C // RR Baby Smooth // Rockwell 6S (R5 plate) // Italian Barber Game Changer .84P
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum (4) // Rockwell (1)
Pre: Shower
Bowl: Pereira Shavery Lathering Bowl
Soap: Cella
Post: Palmers Olive Butter Lotion // APR Escentials Restoration Serum // Stirling Soap Co. Unscented Balm

Super busy week at work so tried to keep the shaves simple and quick. First shaves using the Dorco - thanks @tullfan; not the worst blade but struggled to produce smooth and efficient shaves that left my face with regrowth by lunchtime most days. Best results in the 6S but not too sharp for my liking.

Finished the week with the .84P and a Rockwell blade for DFS results so may try the remaining Dorco's in this DE as its such a great shaver?! Looking forward to bringing out the winter scents seeing as the temp's have started to fall in Canberra... Happy shaves!
