Canard base doesn't lather as nicely as the top elite bases, but provides good cushion and post shave. Also a nice change from tallow. Bonaire is my favourite out of the three. I definitely do gravitate towards citrus scents.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Wolf Whiskers - Granny apple 25mm tuxedo fan
Soap/Cream: Bigelow - Premium Shave cream
Razor: Karve CC - SS SB (F)
Blade: Personna Patinum (4)
Post-shave: Barbasol - Brisk AS / A&E skin food nourshing cream

2 pass WTG daily shave = DFS+. A good quick shave. This shave was from the 30.03, so @klinker nice AS.
It's not often that we see synthetics done as a fan knot. I've gone for decades without giving fans any thought, but they seem to be enjoying a moment just now. How do you feel about this one?

Synthetics for some reason work better with

This particular knot has a fair bit of flop in it, super easy to splay from the beginning, so it makes a great face latherer especially if your in a hurry. For those that shave their heads, this knot would work well for them.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Semogue Owners Club LE 2012 Mixed Badger/Boar
Soap: DR Harris Windsor
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette Spoiler (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Cella Aftershave Splash
Scent: DR Harris Traditional Cologne

Haven't using a triple-milled soap for a while, and realised too late into this shave that I had under-hydrated the soap.
Hence, the shave was not as comfortable as typical, but was still very close. Three passes for a BBS result.

It smells top shelf doesn't it. 🙂 Paired with quality vintage it's found a good home.
