CBR The best meet up in March - Canberra ACT, 10 March

No Chatillon Lux, apologies.

My fave houses are Imaginary Authors and Slumberhouse from the indie ranges (love the two Joshs) and have most of their scents except for the three most recent IA releases.
From the designer world I'm a sucker for quite a few of the Chanels and Diors (both base and high-lines), and Hermes (though I've only found a couple of Hermessence bottles purchase-worthy).
Niches I'm a Serge Lutens fan, big into Histoires de Parfums, and a couple of the Jovoys.

I see from your collection you own pretty much the exact same Creeds as I do (SMW, VIW, Aventus etc) but I also have and love BdP if you've not smelled that?

I haven't tried BdP, would be happy to try it and slumberhouse.
I can bring Saint Julep, what was the other IA release? I don't have O'unknown.

Do you have any of 'The Sum'?
Let me know if there is anything you want me to bring from my list. I have test strips that I will bring along.

Anything 4-5 stars I recommend, along with MDCI, Amouage and MFK. Zoologist for creativity.

I have nothing from The Sum, I'm afraid. I will bring along a few other old bottles I've got.
I think I've tried the MDCI, Amouage and MFK ranges, but haven't smelled any of the Zoologist besides the original releases.

I also have Slow Explosions, so I will bring that along with Saint Julep and Zoologist.
 
I can bring the 6S if you want seeing as it's my first meet up and I'd hate to arrive empty handed :shame: Somebody suggested I bring the PAA Travel scuttle and I was planning on bring the Timeless Bronze with both base plates to admire as it really is a nice razor. Exciting times :nailbiting:

Sounds good. Saves me from bringing my 6S. I would love to see the bronze razors.

I just realised I have a spare 45th parallel sample, so I will bring that along too.

So sorry to hear that, @tullfan. I hope she recovers well. We'll have a drink on your behalf and hope you make it to a future one.
 
My first CBR Meet Up and what a lovely day. A major shame that not everybody made it but to the gents that did, super thanks for the warm hospitality. It was really nice meeting you all and seeing the razors, brushes, soaps/samples and walking away with little gifts is always nice. Can't wait for the next one and best wishes to @tullfan - speedy recover to your daughter (y)
 
What a great afternoon!

Catching up again with the likes of @Kaeckerut and @lerenau, meeting @Razor Burn for the first time and being reacquainted after TOO LONG with @Timmy Dee!

I'm not sure whether the highlight was @Razor Burn's t-shirt (look at his avatar!), @Kaeckerut and @Timmy Dee talking fragance houses (is 'fraghead' a think?) or @lerenau bathing in one of the colognes - he is such a generous guy in so many ways! He is the gang -



We did misss @Ferret619, @tullfan, @iamacup and @stillshunter - who I hope will join us one day :) @mark123abc0 we hope to see next time too - still glowing from a visit to a pharmacy on 34th Street no doubt.

@Timmy Dee's number was randomly selected for the 'lucky door prize', @Razor Burn got the welcome to a newcomer prize and we all went home with something - they are a generous bunch!

There was some serious sniffing and looking going on as you can see -
