Time to get more blades...where should I buy them?

Based on my maximum (generous) life expectancy of living (and shaving) till I'm 100 I calculate I need 2,607 vintage blades (each lasting an average of 7 days) so I'm falling FAR short of needs.

I clearly need to reactivate my blade hunting strategy and seek to find that mother lode of P74s or Light Brigades ...

Any of those large lots? It doesn't make economical sense to import less than 100 blades most of the time for to postage costs unless the seller uses the eBay postage and you are willing to wait 3 months for delivery.
There is a lot of 180 Schick Plus Platinum in blister packs, blue dispensers from 1972.

My new passport will be delivered in 3½ weeks, razor & blade hunting is at the agenda! How I would love to find a full crate of brand new Fatboys : )

Ooh, very nice. And Schicks are the one vintage blade I am quite light on. But AUD$0.94 delivered is a bit too steep for my penny pinching ways unfortunately.

Most of my vintage blades arrived at the 40-60c range - then the aussie dollar tanked against the USD.

RIP the Pacific Peso ...

Will be listing my razors in $USD in future :)

Remember best shave is in USD and there's shipping to add. $27 odd in AUD pre-shipping which is $9 unless you order a lot.

Shaving Market (website for the ebay store I mentioned) has Perma-sharp Supers for $23.90 AUD with $2.50 shipping ($26.40 total for 100). Might be worth getting a few at that price (y)

Woops, i thought the ebay $30 prices were in USD...

Shaving market does look much better if it's in AUD, although it's odd that the site doesn't mention what dollar they are using or where the items are shipped from.

Looks like the only shaving soap they have is Arko though...and you have to order them in 12 packs at once. Kind of tempted to see if they will sell me 1 with the blades just to see what it's like...

Just message @King of Authentic Shave and have a chat to him... Really good bloke to deal with and sure will help you out.

See above ^
Shaving Market is predominately a wholesaler. Australian, and I believe a supplier to Shaver Heaven.

Especially when most of the items are posted by "Atlantic Supply". Can see why you got confused.

Hi Guys ,
In order to avoid misunderstandings; Atlantic Supply is an Australian company located in Melbourne. We mainly supply barber supplies as well as wet shaving products for home users. The reason why we have the neck strips listed on the site is it is one of the most frequently used barber supplies. They put this around the neck to avoid disturbance made by trimmed hair. Anyway let us not focus on the neck strips, i would suggest focusing on the Sales&Specials tab instead . :) . If you have any questions just PM me and i would be happy to answer.

DON'T DO IT!

Unless you like smelling similar to a urinal cake.

Some people like the stench, others are not quite so enamoured with it.

By all accounts it performs very well, but for me it has that very cheap and nest nasty chemical lemon stank.
