Brush: Zenith Boar
Razor: Valet
Blade: Feather Single Edge
Soap: Williams
A/S: Floid Vigoroso

Another great shave with the Valet.

Nice post! Having seen this I will have to revisit my Valets. They are a great piece of design and give a great shave with a Feather (I believe I learnt from you they would work with a modern Feather SE)

Soap: Squadron, The Warden
Razor: Gem junior bar
Blade: Gem SS

The Junior bar is a very usable Lather Catcher and still gives a great shave.

Have a great Sunday

I love it.
But I think I need to buy a tweed jacket to make the most of it. :pompous:

You mean you want me to wear it to the next meet up?

The Mycroft or the tweed?
In either case: Yes. :D

Now that I've said that, I used to have a tweed flat ca too... That would have been perfect.
But, it was twenty years ago. I dare say it's gone now. :(

"S(V)unday" shave:
Pre: jojoba oil
Progress XL w/Polsilver
TurnNshave Angel Hair
SV Dolomiti
Anherb balm

Wonderful SV Sunday shave!
This soap loaded up in a few seconds and took nearly my entire cup of filtered water and then it was finally ready...and boy did it deliver!

The scent is absolutely intoxicating! Beautiful scent with a kind of salty/beachy background, could be the dolomite silt I suppose.

Brush: RR 400
Razor: Yaqi DOC + RR Bamboo handle
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Fine Lathering bowl
Soap: Mike's Soap Lemon & Eucalyptus
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil + Proraso white balm

A super smooth 2 pass BBS shave with the efficient OC from Yaqi. Can't recommend this razor enough for the price and performance. First shave with the new soap and whilst it's distincly difference in appearence to my other/regular soaps, I found it to lather well and the slickness was up there with my favourite's. Really enjoyed the hints of lemon and post shave feels pleasant. Finished off with some Proraso and looking forward to the next SOTD. Have a great evening and happy shaves!

Razor Burn,
Thanks for the recommendation, I used the OC Yagi for the first time, two passes, touch up and achieved BBS as well. (y)

Razor: OC Yaqi head/Muhle R89 handle
Blade: Astra Green
Bowl: Fine Stoneware

Prep:
Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: DR Harris H3 Best Badger
Soap: Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale
Razor: Schick Injector Type G
Blade: Schick
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: Penhaligon's Castile EdT

First shave with a Type G Injector, generously loaned by @Greenpike. First impressions - super-maneuverable, mild, smooth, and good feedback. Superlative lather again from the Wholly Kaw soap - it really is a top tier performer. I was at DFS after three passes, but with the residual slickness of the soap, was able to buff away happily until BBS.
Finished with the underrated Penhaligon's Castile - a beautiful citrus opening with some nicely blended rose coming into the equation, and drying down to subtle woods and musk.

Razor: Vintage Gillette British NEW head on a TSW Bren handle
Blade: Polsilver 'Brown' (2)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Phoenix & Beau Spitfire shaving soap
Aftershave: The Stray Whisker (TSW) After Balm shaving balm
Fragrance: Phoenix & Beau Spitfire solid cologne

A replay of Saturday's shave pre-airshow. I mean it had to be Spitfire, right? A great shave regardless, a real delight in this cooler weather.
