3P preshave
Epsilon 2 Band
Saponificio Varesino Tundra Artica shaving soap
Ikon 102
Gillette Sharp Edge (4)
Saponificio Varesino Tundra Artica aftershave

Second shave out of three with this soap. It must be good to get used again so quickly. I'm still not entirely happy with the epsilon brush though. Too dense and too much backbone for my liking.

Pre: Musgo Real soap and Edwin Jagger Preshave Lotion sample
Brush: Simpsons PJ2 Super
Cream: Al's Goodfellas
Razor: iKon DLC Slant
Blade: Feather (2)
Post: Trumper's Coral

Added a pre shave for the first time today. Still unsure if it added anything to the experience.
Took two goes to get my lather right. I always seem to add to much water to creams. And that brush holds a ton of water anyway.

A DFS with my face feeling great. Still some rash on my neck, but its hard to say whether this is new. Of course I could give my face a rest to let it clear up completely, but then that means no shaving and where's the fun in that?

Preshave: Top Seven Emulsion
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89 with Windrose Handle
Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel
Brush: Shavemac 177 black
Soap: Mystic Water Irish Traveller
Post Shave: Thayers Lemon Witchhazel and Proraso Green AS
Two pass shave with a clean up under the chin. Lathered up the Mystic Water with the Badger brush and it was just so easy. Beautiful scent.

Tried @Anthony's eucalyptus and lavender soap today. Now if that's not another menthol candidate I don't know what is.
Would smell almost exactly like Vick's vaporub.
Unfortunately I paired the slim with a super platinum blade that I thought was a vintage Wilkinson.
Obviously not, nice lather but awful shave due to the blade.

I know it's hard to imagine, but chill bloke. You never know what might be around the corner.

I take it the Extreme Arctic Mango hasn't yet arrived?

Ha, I meant it in a good way.
No chance, this is Darwin we're talking about. Not expecting to see it until next week.

@Anthony eggberts got the right idea here.....

@Osman - would you tell us a bit about this Top Seven Emulsion you've been using of late? Got me fascinated...

Just relax... get that Extreme Arctic Mango lathered and see what other products appears in the future. You may all be very pleasantly surprised.

EDIT: Meanwhile @Anthony is spamming the like button which I am taking as tacit approval. The rest of you can read whatever you like into it.

Lol. We did have the Eucalyptus and Lavender quite early on using Blue Malee Eucalyptus sourced from a local producer (very potent stuff). I still have quite a bit left so who knows.... [emoji6]

Merkur 34C
Omega Boar Brush
Feather Blade (3)
Shaver Heaven Spiced Mahogany

An annoying shave this morning. I think the soap was irritating my face & my neck, especially around my Adams apple, is a red mess.

Anyone got any tips for that area? It's the only place I experience any irritation.

The Top Seven is a pre/after shave emulsion that I only use as a pre shave. It has a eucalyptus scent and is lightly mentholated. It was a gift from a friend who got it off his Italian barber. Quite similar to Proraso green but the mentholated kick is about half. Creamy consistency that is easily absorbed into the whiskers or skin with a non-greasy feel. Italian product and quite good.

Face Wash : Musgo Real Lime Menthol Glycerine Soap
Pre-Shave : Proraso Green Pre-Shave
Brush : Shavemac, Silvertip Badger D01
Soap : Mystic Water Bay Rum
Razor : Tradere SB
Blade : Polsilver SI [1]
After Shave : Fine Platinum w/ extra menthol

A simple but very enjoyable shave today. The Shavemac produced a beautiful lather from the Mystic Water Bay Rum, and the Tradere showed why it is regarded as one of the finest modern DE razors made. My home "tweaked" Fine Platinum proved the perfect splash for a muggy, humid Melbourne day, and provided a sustained menthol buzz for a good half hour.

Cold Water Shave
Face Wash : Musgo Real Lime Glycerine Soap
Pre-Shave : Proraso Green Pre-Shave
Brush : SOC Boar
Soap : Shaver Heaven Citrus Garden
Razor : iKon DLC Slant
Blade : Feather (3)
Shave Balm : Alum, Thayers, Shaver Heaven Arctic Mango

40C outside so decided to try a shave with ice cold water.
Also, since the Proraso just arrived I thought I'd through that into the mix, despite my usual policy of only including one new factor into my shave at a time.
The cold blade against my face was exactly what was needed. And it led to a BBS with very little irritation. Was it the cold water or the Proraso?
Won't be able to tell till next time.
Stay tuned :barefoot: (insert irony emoji here)

How are you finding the SOC brush? I've been eyeing it off for a while but hard to justify.
