Hi
Cartridge shaver for 15 years. Started out with 2 blade Bics, Gillette and then onto Schick, which tend to be more expensive, but imo, give a better shave than the other supermarket brands.
Wetshaving in the traditional sense since July this year. Came about after I purchased an 8 pack of Schick Hydro 5 cartridges for full retail, only to see them for 50% off the next day. So mad, was googling "cheap knock-off Schick hydros" ended up on the wicked_edge sub-reddit and the rest is down that dreaded rabbit hole.
Started with a Jack the Barber DE safety razor from woollies, with shave cream and brush. Now shave with a Rockwell 6S, Yaqi 26mm Timberwolf and a variety of soap from B&M, DG, NO, A&E, Talbot and Stirling. Finish off with a post shave balm (usually Nivea).
Found out about this forum from the APR AMA on r/wetshaving (I'm waiting for the restock on B&B too).
