I had a feeling you'd enjoy the Wunderbar (y)

Dialled the Slim up a couple of notches for some fun. Enjoyable.

I love the look of the bronze timeless and although i have enough razors i still hear it calling my name. Which gap is that one? and have you shaved with the stainless version for a comparison?
The gap is 0.78 for the OC. I've never tried any of the stainless versions so I can only compare it to my other razors. I've been really happy with the Timeless.

Got to say I am impressed with the slant razors. Efficient whilst still being smooth.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Shavemac 3-band Silvertip Badger
Soap: Barrister and Mann Lavanille
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna P74 (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel
Scent: Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve

The vintage P74 blades were bonded together tightly, and the usual alcohol soak and gentle heating were unsuccessful in freeing them up.
A little dispenser surgery, and they are now all neatly tucked away in a Wilkie box; albeit the one I loaded into the WR1.
The better blades from the Golden Era are something else; you just have to gently brush them across your face and they erase growth as if it is simply not there.
The bold Clubman Special Reserve scent was a good foil for the Lavanille soap scent.

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C Charity Auction Custom Gold/Pearl Manchurian 2 Band Finest 24mm Shaving Brush
Soap/Cream: Klar Seifen Natural soap
Razor: Vintage Gillette L1 "Slim" (5)
Blade: NOS Vintage Gillette Super Stainless (7)
Post-shave: Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve splash
Fragrance: N/A

I know that there are meant to be benefits in decanting the Pinaud products into glass - but then how would I know that I purchased this from Pasteur Pharmacy in NYC for $8.29 plus tax (back in 2010)

You carefully peel off the Pasteur label and reaffix it to your sexy new glass bottle. :D
