Perfect setup for a rainy winters morning - heated scuttle, shave soap with barely a hint of menthol and a straight razor.

Soap: Wholly Kow La Fougère Parfaite

WTG, XTG, ATG = near BBS

Whilst not as smooth a shave with Nacet as the GSB, I still achieved a near BBS shave... A truly fantastic razor. Happy shaves!

2 Pass comfortable shave without any weepers not BBS but very respectable. I am finding that the Ralf Aust just doesn't seem to hold an edge like my other razors. Will change up the crox laps on this next time. It could be due for a full hone.

A super smooth and close shave with this setup, which has me second guessing which Wolfman I prefer as for me the WR1 shaves better under the nose but the WR2 is equally as smooth with a tad more efficiency...? Nice slickness from the soap even if the scent is a bit too earthy for my liking. Finished off with serum & balm combo... Have a great day!

I've found Washpool shave soaps to be hit and miss, performance-wise and not overly scented either. How do you find the soap in the tub? I've only got their pucks

I purchased some shaving supplies last year and can't fault the customer service nor quality of product. The soap puck samples smell fantastic but are better as a shower soap during travelling
As for the shaving soap in a tub, I'm not sure whether the formula is the same but performance wise it lathers up nicely with good post shave feel. Only issue I have is the scent as its very earthy with cedarwood overpowering the bergamot & patchouli. For comparison I also own the Abbie & Grace Soapworks Vanilla, Patchouli, Sandalwood and the balance of scents works perfectly....
