Soap - PAA Dapper Doc's Lilac & Fig
The soap is nice to use and the scent remains for some time post shave which is a welcome trait.

Surprised the soap has lasted mate! This is the only one in my den showing the doughnut of death. It's either a very soft soap or may have been my noob lathering technique

The knot is not as dense as my other badgers and as a result very easy to control the lather.
Is the shape original, has someone been trimming split ends, or were they naturally this scruffy?

That looks like wear and broken hairs to me!

As long as it has enough "body" to make a lather. Would make a great candidate for reknotting too I suspect

After a few aggresssive shaves I wanted to go easy. It is possible to confuse mild with ineffecient. However, this is a mild razor, but definitely does as good a job at cutting the hairs as some of my more aggressive razors. Is the cut as close? Probably not, but is the shave as good? In my opinion, yes.
